The wine cellar is in the basement, below the front entrance. It is conventionally framed, and the walls were then plastered with mortar into which I added bas relief scenes appropriate to a wine cellar. The floor is poured concrete. The door is arched and constructed of mortar.
The racking system is constructed of stacked hexagonal drain pipes. The rack will hold xxx bottles of wine. The cellar, because it is in the basement and lined with concrete, will maintain 58 degrees, with only minor temperature fluctuations, year-round.
The room is xx' by yy'. There is plenty of room for additional cases of wine.
